I started drawing when I was old enough to hold a pencil.  It was that easy and wonderful.

Encouraged by my parents, and having a father who attended decades prior, I enrolled at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in pursuit of a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree.

Like many other artists after college, creating art took a back seat to the challenges of everyday responsibilities.  On the rare occasions of spare time, I produced commissioned portrait paintings and entered the world of wildlife photography.

As a way to make a difference with my art, I began voluntarily recreating portraits of unidentified persons.  Some of these portraits are now used by Medical Examiners offices across the US, in attempt to identify these individuals.

Currently I'm focusing on refining my artwork to reflect my respect for wildlife, and the gentle creatures that we welcome into our homes.

I sincerely hope you enjoy this selection of my art.  It is a pleasure to share it with you.
